You guys missed the best... Hampton Beach State Park (NH). This one wins hands down! Well, it must be the best since you actually have to wait for someone to die before you can make reservations there. The attractions: only the finest gravel (parking lot style) sites, all 20 of them. 100,000 of your closest friends on any giving weekend to help you calibrate the Beach. As if that wasn't enough to enchant you, should you need to run out and grab some quick supplies at the local store, it's only 2.5 hrs away or 3 miles...
Yup, there's nothing like camping at the Beach!
Oh! did I forget to mention the first weekend in September is the Seafood festival... You'll get to meet an additional 500,000 more friends. And the quick little trip to the local store is now 4 hrs away. Yup, got to love the beach.
