best for a few days in Escalante

Thanks Guys, we are limited on time - if we decide to cut short our stay at Dead Horse pt st pk, we have reservations for what looks like a great state park in the middle of the monument: Kodachrome basin. We don't have a hookup site, but there is a dump station and fresh water, and we're pretty self contained. Thanks again for the advice.
