We're planning our first big camping trip and are leaning toward Myrtle Beach. We've heard great things about Pirateland. Any thoughts or suggestions vs. Lakewood or any others nearby?
Wouldn't mind hearing from any of you on your suggestions for other waterfront parks on the east coast.
Thanks!!
PirateLand in South MBis more quieter than most of the others, with larger sites. And coming next summer a Pirate ship splash zone. and is our favorite.
MBTP in North MB is very nice as well, and quiet as well with no golf carts.
Which ever you decide. Call now. I made my fourth of July reservations Saturday. They are almost full. Few sites left.
For me and mine. Personally. I like sites with full hookups. There is a really good chance your sewer tank will not last a week. Mine won't. And taking the TT to a dump station, Is just out of the question, as is dumping into t tote and dragging it there as well. Few of the state park sites have full hookups. So for me they are out. Another reason I don't use MB state park. Is that the campsites are so far from the beach. I like to be a VERY short walk from the beach, and at Pirate Land. I am less than 200 feet from the beach
