We stayed at the Desert Rose Resort. Not really a resort but a nice quiet CG. They have an enclosed dog run and the park is well maintained. It's in Bloomfield just east of Farmington. Seems like we couldn't find a good spot in Farmington. We used it as a base camp to run down to Chaco Culture and it actually better for that than Farmington. I was personally underwhelmed by Chaco but that may have been the unpleasant rangers there and the fact that it was hotter than heck at the time.
