- Wherever you decide to stay pay attention to the campgrounds directions on how to get there. There are several roads in the area you can not travel on in an RV or when pulling a trailer.
- janstey58ExplorerRafter Bar J for sure! The KOA is nice, but overrun by kids and noise. Not relaxing.
- jplante4Explorer IIWe did the KOA in Rapid City, although if we go back I think we'd do the Gulch. The good thing about the KOA is that it's close to stores, restaurants etc. After 2 weeks in North Dakota, we were ready for some civilization.

- GjacExplorer IIIWind Cave NP is easier to get a site if you get there before the weekend. From there you can drive through Custer SP, Mt Rushmore and visit Wind Cave right at the CG.

Simple Look Here - accsysExplorerCuster State Park, Game Lodge Campground - great views of Mt. Rushmore through the tunnels on Iron Mountain Road (16A) just a short distance from campground as well as the wildlife loop less than a mile away. 50 amp electric only but water and dump available in campground.
