Like netjam, we have stayed in Yuma and haven't found any RV parks that we like. We rented an RV lot for a month during the last couple of years, this year we will stop only for a couple of days in Yuma before going farther west.
The parks that we stopped at had sites too tight for our liking, tough to get in and out of, with the requirement to park the TV encroaching the roads . I looked at the layout of the Palms, are the sites any larger than the "old" RV parks in Yuma?
Try Sunridge RV Park. All ammenities and huge lots with great parking. 928-345-4280 - pawattExplorer

A lot for 3 with a room with a shower, bed and w/d would be perfect. Any thoughts as to who to contact for something like this??

I suggest checking Craigs List for that area and local publications. - SGTJOEExplorer IIA lot for 3 with a room with a shower, bed and w/d would be perfect. Any thoughts as to who to contact for something like this??
- GemstoneExplorerFoothills lots for 3 RV's would be a double sized lot. Single lots are usually in the 65'x130' size range, and believe it or not, codes stipulate no more that 2 active hook-ups are allowed even tho' most lots are designed with 4 hook-ups...which allows for flexibility on parking of the RV's.

Over the last 10 years we have stayed at several parks in Yuma, must say we enjoyed each and every one, we both really enjoy people. But we bought our own lot in the Foothills section and we enjoy that most of all. Nothing like being home.
Do they have any lots like that for rent that would accommodate 3 rv's??
Yes...there are lots that have hookups for 3 , mine has hookups for 4 but we only rent 2 so as not to be too crowded. One side is rented for the season. - SGTJOEExplorer II

We only stay for a few Days and find the Local Casinos to be adequate for Our Needs! - FishinghatExplorer IIWe liked Shangra La RV Resort in the Foothills, east of Yuma. They have a pool, activities, 50 amp power, full hookups, etc. However, there are perhaps 30 or more parks in the Foothills that are similar, plus another 20 or more parks in Yuma itself. Those in Yuma tend to be older and not quite as "nice". However, they are closer to the stores and Alcodonis, Mexico.
