We watch them on an iPad, which is even more battery efficient than a laptop. We can even watch our home DirecTV DVR from the iPad using a mobile 4G hotspot and our Slingbox, or just use Netflix from the iPad with the hotspot. Just need to charge the iPad and hotspot once in a while. Of course if there is no cell service you are relegated to whatever movies you have pre-downloaded on the iPad.
