Movies have their place while boondocking. I carry a 1 Terabyte and a 500GB WD Passport Hard Drive to hold hundreds of movies and pictures. I use a GoPro Hero movie camera for mountain biking, off road motorcycling, windsurfing and for all the other fun stuff. You can never have enough storage.
The WD Passport hard drives are great as they don't require an extra power connection, just USB. The Passport connects to WD TV Live which in turn connects to a LED TV & sound system. Everything works off of 12V. It takes less power than operating from a laptop.
