As I said originally, I did not get involved with the magazines. I got hit with a $64.95 charge from "The Active Network". I got in touch with them after I found the charge on my AmEx Jan. 16. When I talked to their agent I asked how this came about and if I failed to uncheck something when making a reservation to Topsail. He became somewhat offended by the question and said something to the effect, "I am refunding your money. What else do you need?"
The magazine deal was not there in December. I went online today and made a reservation up to last step just to see what they offered. That's when I first encountered the magazine scam.
