We just want to pick up a couple of bikes to ride around the CG...not planning on touring, mountains, trails....
With any luck you will get 2-3 yrs out of them.
Just having them bounce on the bike rack for a few 1000 miles will beat them up. Leave them in the rain a few times and that's the start of the end of them.

Just bought a couple of Schwinn 7 speed mountain bikes at the local Walmart here in Casa Grande. Is Schwinn a good brand....lifetime warranty.
Have a 'bag' enroute to keep them out of the weather for when we are on the road or on site.
Maybe you just don't like bikes. :R
