Stayed there a couple years ago and we loved it. It's a very beautiful campground. The roads and sites were basically sand, but perfectly usable, and the restrooms and showers were spotless. The only thing I'll add to the favorable comments above is that, for a little county campground, it's got a surprising range of activities: a beach and swimming area, fishing (in the lake and a fishing pier on the river), a nature trail, hiking and biking trails, and so on. Highly recommended.
