Russ, speaking of the High Sierras ... have you ever packed up to Sandpiper Lake or on up above it to Sharpnote Lake? These two are in the high wilderness area between and outside of the Yosemite and Kings Canyon parks. Fantastic area - kindof feels like being in another world - golden trout too! It's around 16 miles of all-up to get to them, though.
By the way I checked out your blog - all around great job. Where do I look to see what kind of rig you RV with?
I may have neglected to put rig info on the blog. I have a 30' Coachmen Freelander, Class C, about 33' if you include PeeWee, my motorcycle hanging on back :)
