Boondocking safety-Are you armed?

This day and age I never leave home without it, but someday the low lifes will figure it out, middle of nowhere lots of time and no 911. Hate to say it, but once they shoot your dog I guess you can throw his body at them. Hope I never need it, but I'll not be an easy target.

Always armed when leaving house for any length of time. Reason...Because my house is more vulnerable to getting ripped off than any danger we've ever experienced camping. But be careful being your in Calif. You don't want to get caught between cops shooting at each other.

Depends on the state and so far as I know CA is hostile in general to guns.
