Three State Parks within proximity to Boulder.
Golden Gate State Park south of Boulder.

St Vrain State Park, outside Longmont, at CO 119 and I-25

Boyd Lake State Park
All have nice facilities. St Vrain will be a bit noisy, due to it's proximity to I-25. Golden Gate Canyon is beautiful and quiet, at about 9200ft, it's between Boulder and Golden. Boyd Lake is also quiet and is about 45 minutes or so from Boulder.
