Has any one ever stayed at Boulder Oaks RV Resort in Boulder City,Nevada? Good , Bad or otherwise???

  • I checked out Boulder Oaks RV Park, looks like a nice clean place to spend a couple of months. Prices range from between $475 to 600 a month plus electric. Found out that if you can find a site that is for sale it might be possible to get a better deal renting from the owner while it sets empty.

timmac, isn't that a county or city ordinance? I know the same rule was being enforced at other RV parks in BC and being blamed on the city.

Yes I believe it was a city issue, however for almost 7-8 years the city never really cared, but when the new rental company came in they forced the city to obey the law on the books, this was so the rental company could have more spaces to rent out, many owners at that time refused to let there lot be rented by them because of what they did, it got ugly there with law suits, fines, etc, etc, some owners just sold out and left.

However it is a nice place to rent, just don't buy..

  • Boulder Oaks RV park is a nice clean place, most lots are owned and some are owned by the rental company, if you do stay and see adds to buy a lot from a owner I will have to say don't buy there, the politics in the HOA and the new rental owner always at each other, law suits, etc, etc, I know this very very well, I knew the developer from the day 1 and had a contract at that place for 7 years, place started out good but after 5-6 years and the new rental company things went south, people that owned could no longer stay there for more than 6 months a year, that really hurt people that bought there and was living full time, HOA always at other owners, lawsuits, fines, you name it I saw it all..
  • Thanks for the replies, sounds like all good reviews, we are thinking about spending the Christmas Holidays there.

  • We stayed a week in August. Used the park as home base to see the sights. About the best park in the area but like southern sky said "more like a RV subdivision". IF we EVER return to Las Vegas would probably stay at Boulder Oaks again.
  • It's not really a campground but more of a RV subdivision. Most sites are owned and rented out. No picnic tables or fire rings. Just a place to park while visiting surrounding area. Close to the dam.
  • Twice and enjoyed both times. Would still be going there, except the Elks have a nice RV park there, so we now stay at the Elks.
