I keep a stash of DuraFlame logs on board in the RV at all times.
You start one of those pupppies first in the fire pit and you can put wet logs on top of it and they will dry up and burn in a heartbeat.
I HATE smoldering CG fires so basically I use the DuraFlame log ALL the time with wet or dry wood. Eliminates all of the smoke when starting a fire.
