Bryce Canyon - North or Sunset

My only complaint about Ruby's is the sorry Internet access. Otherwise it's a pretty good park and you can pick up the shuttle bus right in front.
Be sure to hike the Navajo loop trail. It's one of my favorites.

Been to Bryce a number of times. Done Rubys once. No thanks. Just another crowded expensive CG near a NP. Done the North CG every other time. Some sites are length specific, the way it should be. Nothing worse than finding a class B occupying one of the few sites available for a larger than average rig.

May might be cool. But hey, that is what extra blankets or the furnace is for.

Agree. Besides the rim both early morning and dusk for photos, it was an easy walk to the Visitor's Center and a nice hike to the Bryce Canyon Lodge. We even had lunch and attended an evening "star party" at the lodge while there.

North CG. No hookups, but water spigots in the CG and a dump station. Walking distance to the rim for those early morning and late afternoon strolls. That puts it above any other CG option for us.

We enjoyed Ruby's in April. Good buffet in lodge. Great access to Park.

I stayed at the north cg early October last year. Got there @ 12:00 and they only had a few spots left. I could have gotten in with my 5w, but was glad I was in my tc. Had plenty more options and although you can fit in quite a few spots, it could be a little tight getting in some especially if your not that good at backing. Definitely get there early.

There were quite a few sites in North for our 40'.

+1 on Ruby's. No Cable, but water and electricity is there.

X2 on Ruby's, road our rhino out of there onto the trails everyday and like clock work it rained at 4pm. Saw lots of pronghorn and deer

You are too long for Sunset and it is not well suited to a level spot.
