CA National Forests closed for two weeks
I'm having a hard time (or I'm just lazy) finding a news link that isn't pay-walled, but TV news outlets are reporting that ALL Forest Service lands in California are closed for the next two weeks or ...

Arizona had closed all forests in July due to fires. This included 4th of July weekend. They had nearly all roads into the forests blocked with forest service, police and others stationed at the road entrances. Even the small dirt forest service roads had someone stationed there to block. Could get thru only if you could prove you lived there. Private campgrounds were opened but nearly all had a no open flame policy. AZ has had quite a bit of monsoon rains lately so they lifted the bans in most areas. Hope CA gets some rain as well.
