YES!!! And even with the clean facilities at Camper's Village (high rating on Woodalls!!!), I will always wear water shoes while showering.

We're way into a hijack- I love my 10 gallon water heater. I can run as hot as I want and shower for as long as I need without doing the navy shower thing (so long as I can dump my tanks on a sewer site).

That just it, I do mind a little beach sand and whatever Kooties maybe lurking around in a public shower.
I have a full bathroom that I know is clean. I also know the cleanliness and hygiene of everyone using it.
Don't get me wrong I have used public showers and enjoyed them in a pinch. However as long as I'm bringing my own full bath with me, I'm never using the public shower. I will choose mine over theirs every time!

We almost always camp in Michigan state parks, and use the showers at the campground, just for the pressure and the unlimited (usually) hot water. As long as you don't mind a little beach sand on the floor, it's all good.

Funny. I think I'm 100% the opposite- I've used campground facilities 1 time since getting the fifth wheel with a shower (or I'm making that up and I simply haven't used them at all). :D

But, I hear what you're saying with moisture and space.

I have never used campground showers.....ever! Bathrooms, yes! On occasion.

This thread keeps resurfacing. Each time the CG looks better and better. I can see me heading that way this summer

The $30 is the difference between electric only and full hookups.

That's really not a bad price for full hookups. Especially for park days- the full hookups would be nice simply for the convenience of my own shower at the end of the day.

The old section of Camper Village is a significantly shorter walk to and from the rear park entrance, next to Soak City, and it has more shade. If you don't mind no sewer hookups, it's a better deal, IMHO. It is also possible to walk to the Lake Erie entrance located near the front of the park by cutting through a gap in the fence between the campground and the Sandcastle Suites hotel and following the boardwalk along the lake.
