If you stay in the older section, be sure to choose a site that is away from the park entrance. The walk isn't much more, and the sites are less crowded. I prefer the outer ring, nobody cutting thru your site that way. The convenience and savings of staying at the resort is worth putting up with small sites and not being able to have a fire. We stay there every year, it's the only way to go!
