Campground around Columbus, GA
Headed to St. George, FL. In October. Need a good overnight around Pine Mtn. Any suggestions? FDR state park requires 2 nights.

We have always stayed at "Lake Pines" campground just east of the city on US 80. My wife had an uncle, retired army major, who lived in Columbus, so we visited several times. Always found Lake Pines to be our choice.
