Duncan Family Campground ? Never been but going there next weekend.
Is that the one way up north off 83? near PA. stopped by and cased the joint years back and was not impressed. had a set of "terraced" spots which was just an open field with various levels of sites. the decent wooded sites appeared to me to be filled with seasonals.
KOA was much better and closer in.

You may be thinking of Morris Meadows, now called Merry Meadows. We stayed there one time years ago. Nothing special.
Duncan's is about 20 miles from downtown Annapolis. The KOA is about 10 miles.
correct, thanks for clarifying that.

No, this is in Lothian, MD. - John_S_Explorer III second Millersville KOA. I spent three months there while at Hopkins last summer. Great campground for its location. Close to Baltimore and Annapolis and friendly.

bumpy - ependydadExplorerThere's also the nudist place- but I'm not sure if you have to be a member there or what. Wife would never go for it, but the kids and I would totally be comfortable, so I've never looked into it past knowing that it exists.
Obviously, has to be your lifestyle. - rynosbackExplorer

KOA
The closest is the Millersville/Capitol KOA off I97 ... very easy access into Naval Academy & Annapolis City area
This is the closest one that I know of also. There is a state camp ground right off route 40, about another 20 minutes further out then the KOA. But I do not know what size rig you have, but I know that they can not accommodate the 40 footers. - LantleyNomad

Please post what you think of the place. One of the few local CG's I have not stayed at. Due to breed restrictions I have never stayed there but have been curious about the place - camper19709ExplorerDuncan Family Campground ? Never been but going there next weekend.
