Campground near Newport, Rhode Island

Thanks everyone. We have decided to stay at a campground I found on line in Falmouth, Boston. The name of it is Cape Cod campresort and cabins. The pictures of the campground and area look really pretty. The reviews are positive. I figured we could use it as a central hub and make day trips. We planned on going into Massachusetts to do some sightseeing also. Being from Texas, it is hard for me to realize you can drive from state to state in an hour. Ha. I wanted to find really nice places to stay on this trip, as this is my mother-in-laws intro into camping. If anyone has any suggestions into must see sights in the Newport, RI/Massachusetts area, I would love to hear them. We are planning a day in Newport, Boston, Plimouth Plantation, and Cape Cod National Seashore area. Once again, thanks so much for all the input.
