Campgrounds Near Newport, VT

Planning a summer trip to Newport VT, need to know if anyone has experience with some of the local CG's. We want full hook-up 50amp service, I have looked at the CG sites, but I like to hear from people that have stayed at a CG.

    On our way up to Canada, We have stayed at Char-Bo Campgrounds in
    Derby, VT for a couple of days, about 5 miles from Newport. Clean well maintained campground. lots of large, level back in full hook sites. I'm almost sure they have 50 amp.

    Prouty Beach & Campground is in
    Newport, VT never stayed there but saw it across the lake from a restaurant we were dining at. Campground looked more conjested...but we were looking at it from a distance.
