Campgrounds around Reno, NV and SLC UT?
We're in a small class C and we prefer National and State parks over KOA style campgrounds. We're heading from Denver to San Fran via I-80 and I think we'll make SLC on Day 1 and Reno on Day 2. ...

In the Reno area on I-80 just before the California border is a FHU campground next to Cabelas at Boomtown exit on your right heading west. Another FHU campground is at the Grand Sierra Resort on 395 South at the Mill Street Off ramp, both good spots and easy to find locations. I-80 and I-395 intersect so you won't have to drive through city streets to find either campgrund.
