Campgrounds between Hot Springs,Ar and Morgan City,La

Look into Heart of Hainesville camp a bit off 1-49 south of Shreveport. we enjoyed our visit there last winter. A friendly safe good services place.

Hot Springs to Morgan City would be a good 1 day trip. How far are you willing to travel in a day? If you want to stop before Alexandria try the Red River Colfax RV park. If you pass Alexandria, you might as well continue to Morgan City. Unless you would like to check out the resturants in Lafayette. Then I would say to stay at the KOA in Scott along I-10. And you would be an hour and a half from MC.

Sunrise RV Park just before you head south on 549.
It's in Texarkana so you probably won't be ready to stop so soon from Hot Springs though.

On edit: You probably want to take 167 instead of going all the way to Texarkana and Shreveport anyway.

There is a KOA in Shreveport. Previously Tall Pines RV Park. 186 miles from Hot Springs. 6510 W 70th St, Shreveport, LA 71129
