Dam Site park is located on the lake and has many sites on the water it is a great park.
JFK park is located right below the dam that seperates the lake and the Little Red River. It is beautiful, quiet and usually about 10 degrees cooler than surrounding area because of the river. Also pretty good trout fishing there.

Another good place not to far from the race track is Mountain View. It is a folk music mecca. We love it there. Go down to the court house in the evening and lots of accustic groups sitting around playing. Mountain View also has the Ozark Folk center. Kind of a very small Silver Dollar city with old time crafts and skills.

I stayed at the state park yrs back, nice area. back then theres a small town called cash ak one store town, very friendly place. they did a story there in the field and stream book. ,gonna go back some day.

Race track is 10 miles west of Batesville in Locust Grove, which is about 25 miles from Greers Ferry Lake. Google COE Greers Ferry for campgrounds, there are about 17 campgrounds around the lake, 10 of which accept reservations.
