- AlabamaTravelerExplorerWe have stayed at the Horse Park CG 2 times in last 4 years. I can honestly say that I don't remember any golf carts. The park is a must see. You can spend an entire day there. We also rode horses while we were there. Our grand daughter loved that. Happy camping........
- mockturtleExplorer IIIt's been a few years since we stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground but it was a beautiful park and convenient for driving around the gorgeous Lexington horse country.
- jnharleyExplorerIt is a nice park with this caveat, the sites are perpendicular to the road, not angled and it is difficult backing in without driving on the grass especially if you have a big rig,. We will stay there again when we are in that area.

second Whispering Hills - car2900ExplorerKentucky Horse Park Campground is a great campground. A short drive into Lexington. They could have done a better job and made the sites more level and a little wider. Our 5th. wheel, at the time, had three steps and the steps hung over the edge of the asphalt which made for a big step down to the ground. We stayed there a few days last year in late October, beautiful. The park was not busy during the week but I am told on weekends is get very busy. The only negative, too many people with golf carts running around, many of them had gas engines, so the noise and fumes were a little much. I was told on weekends the number of golf carts explode and with kids driving them. Ky. Horse Park is a must see.
- Jim_ShoeExplorerMany of the thoroughbred farms in the area also offer tours. If they'd toss a mattress in a corner of one of the stalls, I'd be happy to call it home as long as I didn't have to share it with a four legged friend.
Kentucky is the home of beautiful horses and fast women. Uh, I may have that backwards. :) - JanssExplorer IIWe've stayed at Whispering Hills RV Park in Georgetown, just north of Lexington, and really liked it.

- Parrothead_MikeExplorerWe've stayed at the KY Horse Park several times. Very nice park with paved pads - electric - water. No FHU's, but there are 2 dump stations. Located right next to the horse park which is worth a visit.
