Campgrounds near Coeur d Alene ID
Need a place to stay near Coeur d Alene for a few days this summer. Would like to be close to route 95 near Kidd Island. Nearest campground seems to be Blackwell Island but reviews are either great or...

We stayed at Blackwell Island...close and convenient to the Coeur d Alene scene.
Super high water pressure. At check in they asked us to use a water pressure regulator - even sold them at the desk.
Lots of goose poop and on going noise from a lumber mill across the lake. Don't know if these are still an issue.
Aside: when we were there, there was some kind of Prevost rally..about 15 huge, beautiful coaches - some had full sized Hummers as toads.
Really friendly bunch. Invited us to join in a pot luck.
Anyway, have a good trip.
