Campgrounds Near DC Metro
I would like to spend a couple of days visiting Washington, D.C. on our way home from Florida. What is a good campground near a Metro station?

Check out Pohick Bay in Virginia. It is a ten minute drive to the last metro stop on the blue line. It has beautiful views, very well priced and has electric and water hookups. It is either a state or regional park and sports some pretty impressive views. We stayed there for a week during police week in DC. Although it is 20 minute metro rail ride into DC, being outside of the hustle and bustle was well worth it in the evening.
