Campgrounds Near Pendleton, Oregon
Planning on taking in the Pendleton Round-Up in Sept 2019. Not thrilled with the RV Parks in town as both the KOA and Casino seem to be basically parking lots. Other campgrounds in the area are 18-20 ...

Umatilla, Irrigon, Boardman have nice marina/parks, but not that close to Pendleton. There is a nice COE campground at Plymouth, WA. Again not very close to P. And there is another small COE site at Sand Station on the Columbia River east of Umatilla/Hermiston. Also on Hwy 730 is Hat Rock CG, a Good Sam park. Same thing, a ways from P. And probably not much available in P during the roundup such as Walmart, etc. OR State Park SE of P, Emigrant Springs SP. A bit closer, but a freeway drive up and down the pass each time you want to go to roundup!!
