Campgrounds on I69 and I65 Open in Dec.

We are heading south out of Sarnia in early December and wanting to know any campgrounds open with electric on I69 and/or I65 in the north part of the route.
  • I know this is at the southern end of what you were inquiring about, but a great little campground. Just north of Troy, Alabama along US-231 is Deer Run Campground. We stopped there on the way to & from Florida last season and found it to be a good value. With your Good Sam discount it's about $27/night with FHU and cable. All cement pads and the people that run it are great.
  • You might want to check into Boondockerswelcome.com
If you belong to FMCA you can stay at their office off I275 Cincinnati.
Just south of Cincy you can take I-71 over to I-65
  • We use the Good Sam Campground search engine - after putting in the city and state you can click on "open all year" and hit refine features to give you those campgrounds. For fall and spring camping each campground listing gives the dates they are operating
  • The other one we stop at before hitting the Bowling Green KOA further south is Woods'N' Waters near Columbus Indiana, the website is below.

  • Grandma's that is just South of Louisville, Ky. is open. Nice Park.

  • On I-69 just about 30 or so miles I to Indiana, Fireside resort is open all year. Not a destination, just an overnight. I thinks it's 30.00 with all tax, and no cable.next to interstate. Way in and out. We stay there every year. Wish it were better, but it will do. Dona
