Would it be possible or even practicable to get, hint to moderator, sub-sections to RV Parks, National Parks, State Campgrounds & More or even their own categories under Locations, a category for Camp...

Double ditto. I see folks are beginning to do better at that since it's been brought to everyone's attention.
Whenever a post appears praising a particular park in a bit of a sales pitch tone, you'll see folks react against it, especially if it's over the top like it's THE best campground.
Personally I think leaving the forum as it is invites others to have all their options available in one category. Adding states in the post title helps tremendously too. No need for anyone to grab up their toys and form a separate forum as we're all adults here who can accept differences in our preferences - I hope.
