Bainbridge has a state park near by. I also stayed at holiday campground, it is nice with clean bathrooms, wifi, but about 40 dollars a day. Like other posters have said there is two rv resort parks, but you said you did not want resort types, so you can look at St. George Island, or St. Joseph state parks.
