I would also consider Spruce Park on the River as opposed to the others.
  • There were some long-term campers at Rocky Mtn Hi, but that made no difference. We ended up staying there twice - so that's gotta count for something! ST
  • We liked Rocky Mountain Hi campground.
We also like Glacier Meadow in Essex MT about an hour toward East Glacier.
  • We stayed at Wayfarers State Park a couple of years ago. It is right on the lake about 15 miles from Kalispell. Some of the spaces would probably be tight for your rig, but many would be OK.
  • I live in Kalispell and know of many great parks in the area. One of our favorites is the West Glacier KOA. For something a little cheaper and almost as nice, the Mountain Meadows or San-Suz-Ed are good choices. Although friends have stayed at Rocky Mountain Hi and enjoyed it, I think parts of the park have long term renters that are sketchy IMHO. The Whitefish KOA is another good choice and more centrally located in the valley to enjoy all this area has to offer.
  • we have stayed at rocky mtn high. enjoyed it quiet and clean with friendly staff
