- NY_RVerExplorerI have been searching also for a while, so am curious to see what others have to say. We always wanted something close to the water, but the only one I found and stopped by years ago in RI was extremely cramped. Rigs were so close that awnings were overlapping; not exactly my idea of "getting away from it all".
- soricobobExplorerFisherman's State Park in Narragansett, RI is the nicest we have found, and is the place trips are planned around by many (ie; make a reservation there, and plan the rest of the trip).
There are more than one in CT, but Aces High in East Lyme is very nice. - CrabbypattyExplorerWe stayed in Strawberry Park one Easter long days ago and it was an experience. First the park wasnt exactly full and the site they gave us had two full time handyman living in it with there junk. Took them along time to get off of and clean up the site. After we set up this other full timer from across the way comes over and accuses me of taking his rake. Needless to say Im not going back there!

- NY_RVerExplorerHow are the sites at Fisherman's; open or wooded? Can a 33' TT fit?

Your choice - NY_RVerExplorerIs it close to the shore? I have not had a chance to look into it yet. Sounds interesting.

#2 Mystic KOA
Also hear good things about Aces High which is owned by the casino. Never been there though...... - mboppExplorerOdetah in Connecticut. It could be a destination all in itself. We used it as a base to explore Mystic, the Nautilus museum, and a few more places in the area.
- ChooChooMan74ExplorerNew place. Ashaway RV resort. Suppose to be opening soon. They are behind due to the bad winter weather.
