Throw my 2 cents in . . . We tried to stay at Rincon before school let out in June. Packed. Lots of RV's cruising, watching for departures. So we spent a couple of days at the private park in Ventura. Our only concern was that the rules about where to park, dogs off leash, etc., we're not being enforced. Surprised me after reading their reviews. Next time in the area, we'll park the RV in the day use area, and cruise for a spot in the dinghy. Then bring the RV in. Hoping that won't be necessary late October. On the other hand, I like full hook-ups.
