I will second Lake Farm Park. Another Dane County park in the area is Token Creek.It's on the north side just off the interstate. Both are nice, have bathrooms and showers, but are electric only. Token Creek has some trails and a dog park. Lake Farm is pretty much in the middle of town Reserve early. Here is the link
