Thanks Camping World in Madison

On Monday my new generator stopping working. camping World worked me in as soon as I could get there. Diagnosed the general issue, referred me to Onan specialist complete with directions and phone call alerting them to my arrival. They took it apart and fixed it. I bought 650 dollars of items and install at C W yesterday. Nice to have you in my town.

I am not sure why they deserve any accolades. They could not fix your generator but referred you to someone who could. I bet they also charged you only to tell you they could not fix it. If you had gone to an Onan shop, you would have saved your diagnostic fee.

Our camping world sends you to an Onan specialist as well. My coworker has a new Winnebago that said his generator seemed loud. He bought it from camping world and called them. The service writer referred him to the onan specialist. I believe they do basic work on them, but on other things they don't.
  • Why is this in the "Good Sam Club" section of the forum? It has nothing to do with the club.

    Good point.
  • Wow, it sure doesn't take long for the CW bashers to jump in and hijack a thread. All the op said was that he was satisfied with the service he received. If he's happy, that's all that matters.

Yo Goldencrazy..did CW charge you to tell ya to go to an Onan specialist cuz CW couldn't do anything for you? Sure lots of inquiring minds would like to know.

That's what I was thinking. I would be curious to know if CW charged him to look at it and then sent him somewhere else. If so, there is nothing special about that.
