Camping on golf courses

Looking for anyone who uses Rvgolf or harvest RV for a stopping place while on the road. I understand no hook ups but a relaxing place to park. Anyone with any experience with any of the clubs? Share your experience?

Thank You

  • Cemetaries are places to respect and reflect, not use for recreation. Please respect the sanctity of our ancestors, so visit, walk among the stones. Reflect. Then go camp somewhere else.

Will you please come to my area and do that? I could go and have fun like that with my ATV but would probably be way to obvious it was me.

  • Years ago when I was young, my daughter and I would take long self supported cycling trips riding a tandem. Camped a few nights in graveyards. Nice and quiet and nobody bothered us.
  • Mallard Creek RV resort is pretty nice. Stayed there twice. 18 hole course. Call the pro shop, get a tee time and if you need a cart they will bring one to your site. Load up the clubs, golf and bring the cart back to your site and they will come and get it when you're done.

What will be next? Camping in graveyards? :)
They are great. You can often find a freshly dug pit that is the perfect place to empty your tanks.
  • The 17th island green at Sawgrass would be high on my list. You could fish in any direction. Just be sure to put out your campfire when you leave, don't want the golfers to burn their feet.
