Camping on the beach in southern CA
Where in southern CA can you camp in an RV right on the beach (i.e., on the sand?)

Camp Pendleton Marine Base, Oceanside. There was at least a foot of sand under the tires. Not exactly out on the beach like Pismo but as close as you'll get in SoCal.
