Camping on the beach in southern CA
Where in southern CA can you camp in an RV right on the beach (i.e., on the sand?)

Is beach camping by reservation only? Can't find info on Reserve America. Photos on google look like everybody's camped helter-skelter all over the place. If I drive up there tomorrow (Monday Feb 8) will I find a spot?
