Caprock Canyons & lake arrowhead state parks in texas

Looking for thoughts about both state parks. Easy access, if you've stayed, there, etc. Traveling through texas in May with class a 33 ft MH and 2 medium size dogs. Any other camping suggestion welco...

We're heading to Caprock this fall,on our way to the Davis Mountains. I'm really looking forward to it. We had a 4 night stay a couple years ago in the Mesquite CG at Palo Duro and loved it; other campers told us to check out Caprock, less busy and great star gazing at night.
