We took the Metro with no issues at all. There were hardly any riders when we used it. We would not take it after dark but then we would not be out and about then anyway. Casino security is very good and we felt safe during our stay. If you are a baseball fan, take a tour of Busch Stadium. If you want to attend a home game, the Casino runs shuttles over to the ball park and brings you back after the game. Many people drive to the Casino, park, and take the shuttle but are not staying at the Casino. We found the staff to be customer oriented and we will stay there again.
