Chance of finding a cheap site in Palm area in November?

I know, weird question.

I have plans to be elsewhere, but they won't be finalized till the last minute. I need a backup plan, in case the other thing falls through. I see sites in the broader Palm Springs / Borrego area for $350/month now... but what if I wait?

Any advice is appreciated. I am kind of anxious about this. Boondocking all winter is not something I want to do THIS year.

    Two to three years ago you could find one for that price but not now maybe in a year or two the prices will drop.

    You mentioned Borrego, not sure you will find sites at that price point other than boondocking in the desert. You will be able to get into sites in November/December without reservations but they start to fill up after Christmas.

    Borrego Springs has some basic groceries (at high prices!), for good shopping we go to the Palm Springs area or Brawley.
