What ever you do, don't stop at the welcome center and get talked into a tour package deal in exchange for attending a hard core sales pitch for time shares. We stayed at a bed and breakfast and walked everywhere from there. Be sure to visit the market.
Be sure to eat at Nicks BBQ at 288 King st. Have the brisket - you won't regret it.
