Charleston, SC Campground?

Good Sam lists The Campground at James Island County Park and
Oak Plantation Campground. Which one should I choose? We have a 37' MH and plan to go there this November on our trip down to Florida. We plan to stay in the Charleston area for about a week. After Charleston, we plan to go to St. Augustine, FL. Any suggestions there?

    If you can get into James Island, it is a great option. Sites are more private than Oak Plantation. Also, great dog park at James Island. Call the park for the best route in as there is one turn off one of the access roads that is a little tight for a big rig. Oak Plantation is very nice as well. James Island is more park like whereas Oak Plantation is set up row style like a typical RV park. It is on a major road and is very accessible. You would be fine with either one depending on what your preferences are.
