Charleston SC campgrounds

Looking at possibly heading to the Charleston SC area next June. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good campground possibly with cabins for other family members within a short drive of Charleston? No substitute for experience.

    We stay at the MtPlesant KOA Nice for a KOA and great location. We have stayed there several times.

    James Island County Park is hard to beat. Full hookups, great sites, and just a short distance from downtown Charleston, SC. Have a great trip.
