yep. We used to have a houseboat on the river there. Good fishing and good crabbing at night but watch for alligators. It's a bit rustic for us (we have a class A). Lots of trees not many sites where you can get satellite. Fairly narrow interior dirt roads with pot holes. Wi-Fi "iffy" Only a few sites are long enough for larger RV's. Look at www.rvparkreviews.com under Florida, Homosassa and you will see some reviews. Canoe and boat rentals with great canoeing. River gnats (no see-ums) and sometimes yellow flies can be a problem. Lots of people have campfires so it can get smoky. Grocery store (Publix) nearby. If you like old Florida campgrounds you should like this one. Last time we were there it looked like some people were homesteading. Probably due to monthly rates? Manatee Springs State Park is much better in our opinion.
