Chattanooga TN
Hello everyone, I have never been to this area and wondering if anyone is familiar and if anyone has campground suggestions. Is there a lot to do in the area.? Thank you for any input.

I have often told people that I'd rather drive through Atlanta than Chattanooga. Yes, Atlanta has a ton of traffic and gets clogged up, but I-24 through Chatt can be a white knuckle experience. The road wasn't designed for the traffic it now gets and hasn't been expanded in key areas. Between being wedged between the river and the mountain, then winding up Missionary Ridge to join 75... it's just not fun.
Besides that, I love the city. Definitely see the aquarium. I'd also recommend the Holiday Trav-L park. If you want some Italian food, check out Provino's near the interchange of 24 and 75.
